Wai Wai Buffet & Grill in Canonsburg

This was one of the worst eating experiences i have had in my life. We got there around 5 in the afternoon and nobody else was in the restraunts which surprised us because it was dinner time and this used to be a good restraunt. Nobody else came since we have left and the food was very old. It actually made me sick after eating there. I do not recommend eating here unless you are looking for food that has been sitting out all day long. It really is a shame because this used to be a really nice place to eat but we will not be coming her again

I've never had fresh food here, every time we get bottom of the dish, they don't refill often, can tell it's been sitting for a while. Over priced for what you get.

Standard asian buffet. If you understand that statement, you know exactly what this place is like. Not the best food I've eaten, but its far from the worst. Large selection. Lunch is a good deal. No complaints!

The guy cashing me out was nice. That's the best thing I can say about this place. Gross, lukewarm food that was really not good. I was the only diner the entire time I was there. I see why.

My sushi was hard and warm. There was congealed soup sitting out that was hard. And the serverd sucked. And there was a horrible selection

I'm only giving a one star because it won't allow to give a minus! I had eaten here a few times over the years and I was pretty good. I order to go because my hubby won't eat Chinese....and after this last experience I may not ever eat it again either!!My fried rice actually had maggots in it!!! I'm so freaking grossed out that can't even cinsuderibgceatung rice again, EVER! SO NASTY.........the healthy department needs to close this place down!!!!

Nice selection to choose from. Food was hot, everything seemed clean and have ice cream.

From their opening until about 2009 I ate here almost every day for lunch. I gained 20 pounds and had to stop before I died. At first I thought they put something in their food to make me an addict... but then I realized that i'm fat and need to go with the flow.It's a nice place to stop for a quick and cheap lunch

Your standard Chinese buffet. The lunch price is a good deal.

The staff was nice, and there were several very edible things on the buffet. We did go we did go late at night on a weekday. The sushi was not great and the wasabi I didn't think you could possibly screw up. They do have a salad bar minimally they had several other things that were just tough or dry. some other things that were good like their fried zucchini. If you were in canonsburg and had to have a Chinese buffet inexpensively this would be the one to go to

I like the fact that their food is good, the marked the "hot" foods, hot, so I didn't have to guess. Buffet is over three tables. Desserts are of a variety. Salads looked fresh and crisp even at 8pm. They had a variety of beef, chicken, shrimp, veggie dishes. Also, had take out menus and delivery service available. Great for the whole family.

Really a quality place and great food for the price...definitely worth the trip

Not bad for a quick bite to eat. The food on the buffet tends to sit there too long and should be replaced with fresh food.

Very good food and cheap

Very clean, the staff is very friendly. Priced very low compared to competition. For myself, my wife, and my 2 kids it was $36 for all you can eat at dinnertime. Only downside is the selection (especially for kids) isn't that large. Otherwise, this place would be 5+ stars

I absolutely love Chinese food, and believe me, I've been to plenty of restaurants in multiple states. My boyfriend and I come here often and it's an amazing experience each and every time. Delicious food and wonderful selection.

I’d eat there again

All reviews from one year ago and back are from the previous owners, a new family has taken over and are doing a far more excellent job than the last. I've been here with both owners, and my most recent experience was much better than the last, the inside looks stunning compared to my last time here. Although the selection is moderate, the General Tso is to die for, honestly. It's a Chinese-American buffet, with very attentive staff who are extremely nice. Overall, a good place to eat dinner, will come here again!

Don't go between lunch crowd and dinner the buffet isn't well stocked

Horrible wai wait is on a down hill spirial I used to love the place anymore the Chinese buffet in Washington is worth the drive to avoid this hole in the wall and that's sad I like holes in the wall

Very limited selection. Can tell the food is not rotated often. Cheap and quiet if that is what you are looking for.

Used to ge great...havent been there in a while, went a couple weekends ago. Now has to be the DIRTIEST place i have ever seen. carpet nasty bathrooms a horror stuff splattered on the walls...The health department needs to pay a visit.

This place has gone so far down hill that the Mon incline couldn't reach it. It use to be a family favorite, sadly no more.

Was hesitant to try after reading some of these reviews but drove by to see how busy they were at 6pm; busy so I stopped. Their buffet was hot and tasty with a good selection, almost like my favorite buffet back home. Photo of a portion of the actual buffet during my visit. Nothing stands out as either really good or really bad. If you're hungry, stop by and have your fill. I've been there a number of times and always left satisfied.

Cold food, dirty tables, dirty silverware, and too quiet. What do you expect when you go to a restaurant? Warm food, clean tables, clean silverware, and the bustling sound or at least some background music, well that is the exact opposite of this place. It wasn’t even that cheap, costs too much for terrible service.
